The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published the Times Higher Education 2025 Ranking of World Universities by Subject, in which the leading Kazakh universities participated: Nazarbayev University (NU), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and Satbayev University,El.kz reports.
Nazarbayev University demonstrated excellent results, entering the top 200 world universities in the field of "Education".
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University entered the 501-600 in "Education" and improved its position in the areas of "Arts and Humanities" and "Social Sciences".
L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University entered the ranking in the areas of "Arts and Humanities" and "Computer Science", taking positions 601+.
These universities took positions in 9 areas, including education, art, engineering, medicine and social sciences.
The ranking evaluates universities according to criteria such as teaching, research quality and international cooperation.
