Presidents of Kazakhstan and Slovenia visited the Astana International Financial Center, El.kz reports via Akorda.
During the visit, the heads of state got acquainted with the key areas of work of the AIFC and its structure.
The Presidents were also briefed on the work of the AIFC Court, the first independent judiciary in Central Asia based on English case law, and the International Arbitration Centre, which provide legal protection for investors and members of the centre.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed the strategic importance of the AIFC in attracting foreign investment and developing the country's financial ecosystem.
In her turn, President of Slovenia expressed interest in cooperation and exploring the potential of the platform for Slovenian companies.
