Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov by his decree created a governmental commission, which will investigate the reasons of crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines’ plane near Aktau, El.kz reports.
The commission included the Deputy Prime Minister, Akim of the Mangistau region, representatives of the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Transport, Internal and Foreign Affairs, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Health, as well as the Chief Transport Prosecutor.
The main tasks of the commission include:
- conducting a comprehensive investigation of the reasons of the plane crash;
- coordination of measures to provide priority assistance to the families of the dead and injured.
Kazakhstan is actively cooperating with Azerbaijan to ensure an objective investigation and provide the necessary assistance to the victims.
