Kazakh and German scientists held meeting at Yessenov University within the framework of the Aktanten project, aimed at developing educational programs in the field of energy and logistics,El.kz reports citing the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The project is being implemented on the basis of the The German-Kazakh Institute for Sustainable Engineering (KINI) in cooperation with HAW Hamburg, TU Berlin and TU Darmstadt. Within its framework, it is planned to develop master's programs in hydrogen energy and hydrogen transportation, as well as expand opportunities for scientific research in this area.
As Professor of the Technical University of Berlin Hans-Liudger Dienel noted, the key goal of the program is to train specialists who understand the technologies for obtaining and transporting hydrogen.
Training will take place on the basis of Yessenov University, and students will be able to participate in international research and undergo internships at leading universities in Germany
In addition, the experts discussed a project related to the technological development of maritime infrastructure and the management of marine operations in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea.
Attention will be paid to energy saving and the effective use of new technologies in this area.
According to Berik Akhmetov, President of Yessenov University, KINI is not only engaged in educational activities, but also implements scientific research that contributes to the development of the region. This project will be an important step towards the creation of an international scientific and educational center in Kazakhstan.
