President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the CEO of AD Ports Group Mohamed Juma Al Shamis, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.
The meeting was centred on the issues of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the transport and logistics industry
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the modernization of transport corridors and infrastructure plays a key role in ensuring sustainable economic growth of the country and intensifying international trade.
In his turn, Mohammed Al-Shamisi expressed gratitude for the support in the implementation of joint investment projects and also informed the President on the current cooperation with the Samruk Kazyna Fund and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the planned projects, which will strengthen economic ties and increase the role of Kazakhstan as a transport and logistics hub in the region.
