K-POP Concert Held in Kazakhstan

NUR-SULTAN - The 2019 Year End K-POP Concert in Nur-Sultan organized by Korean Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan was held at Nazarbayev University.

The Center has held many cultural and educational events since its establishment. It offers courses of Korean language, traditional cuisine, K-POP dance, a variety of master classes to learn more about the culture and traditions of Korean people. It is worth noting that there many of those who wish to lesarn Korean language and Korean culture lovers who do not miss the events of Korean Cultural Center.

In gratitude for the support, the Korean Cultural Center organized a K-POP with K-POP bands MustB and GeeGU for all Kazakh fans.


Mr. Kim Daesik, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and thanked the audience for their interest in this event.

"This year, the Korean Cultural Center has held a large number of events. This concert is the final event of this year. However, we could not have organized everything without your participation, so I want to thank you for your support and love.

There will be two bands performing in front of you today - MustB and GeeGU. I remember my high school years, when at the end of the school year we also gathered with friends and had a good time. For you it's the same case. Let's enjoy today's concert together," concluded the Ambassador.


GeeGU, a female group was the first to come to the stage, and they performed many songs, including covers for the songs of such famous artists as BTS, Sunmi and others. Specially prepared performance "All I Want For Christmas Is You" caused great delight of the audience. During the greeting, the band members surprised the audience by introducing themselves in Kazakh.

MustB, a band consisting of five members, performed popular songs with dynamic choreography.

The audience enjoyed the concert, singing and applauding during the performance.
