On April 26-27, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, El.kz reports via Aqorda.
The leaders of both countries intend to hold talks focused on key areas of development of the Kazakh-Italian strategic partnership and discussing the issues of political interaction, economic cooperation and cultural ties.
On April 27, the first "Central Asia – Italy" summit will be held in Astana.
The official visit of the head of the Italian government will be an important step towards deepening the dialogue between Astana and Rome, as well as expanding cooperation between the EU and Central Asia.
