The grand opening of the regional IT hub - Jaiq-Hub - was attended by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin and Deputy Akim of the region Bakytzhan Narymbetov, El.kz reports with reference to the zhaikpress.kz.

The newly opened hub is a kind of branch of the Astana Hub international technopark (the central office is located in Astana), aimed at the development of IT projects in our region. Such hubs are now opening everywhere, Astana Hub has set the goal of opening 17 regional IT hubs throughout the country this year (operating in Taldykorgan, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Aktobe and Semey).

According to experts, regional hubs are engaged in the development of innovative projects, training and education of personnel in the IT field. They also create a local IT community - an association of startups, investors, mentors, where everyone interested can join. When developing start-up projects during the incubation period, entrepreneurship training, assistance in attracting investments, financial accounting and PR support are provided.

According to the regional manager Omarbek Tashim, they are mainly developing robotics projects in the hub, they have trained a considerable number of teachers of this type of IT direction. Among the students there are winners of national and international Olympiads. In addition, they also teach programming and develop drone racing.

"The speed of drones reaches 250-300 km / h, and not everyone has the skills to control them. The drone can only be controlled with special glasses. This species in our country is relatively new, but there are already achievements. For the first time in international races, a participant from Kazakhstan, and this is a 10-year-old boy from the Karaganda region, won a prize. Our task is to popularize this direction, to register the hobby as a separate sport," said Aslanbek Aminov, one of the founders of the NGO "Aspan-drone".

Bagdat Musin willingly supported this direction, noting that the development of this type of IT technologies and drone control skills will be useful not only in sports, but also in demand through the Ministry of Emergency Situations and in other areas of life. According to him, the number of people who are interested in such a hobby is now growing exponentially, so it needs to be promoted.

Pupils of the Schoolchildren's Palace also demonstrated their achievements in robotics, where about 150 students from different schools of Uralsk are fond of this species.

"For certain competitions, we create and program a separate robot, which is thus aimed at performing a mission. It is completely autonomous. For example, we recently took part in competitions in one of the British schools," said Artur Dzhaksagaliev, a student of secondary school No. 5.

The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also presented with a number of IT products, among which were the digitalization of oilfield services in Karachaganak, the region's water supply system, which made it possible to automate the accounting of subscribers and subsidies for drinking water in the areas of the West Kazakhstan region, as well as the relocation of foreign companies, startups in the agro-industry.

At a meeting with the population of the region, Bagdat Musin spoke about the latest innovations in the digital process, which in many ways now facilitates the provision of public services to the population when issuing various documents and certificates, applying for benefits, pensions and other things.
