Issues of further deepening of Kazakh-Armenian relations discussed in Yerevan

The current state and issues of further deepening of Kazakh-Armenian relations were discussed at the meetings of Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev with the leadership of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, El.kz cites MFA.

During the conversations, the Armenian side was briefed with the key aspects of the State of the Nation Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism”, and was provided with detailed information on the political and socio-economic reforms carried out in Kazakhstan. The parties discussed current issues and further steps to expand bilateral cooperation.

The progress in implementing the agreements in the field of transport and logistics reached following the official visit of President Tokayev to Yerevan in April of this year was discussed at a meeting with the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan. An exchange of views took place on the efforts of the sides in determining optimal transport routes between our countries and the implementation of the Roadmap for Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Armenia for 2024-2025.

High level of inter-ministerial cooperation achieved between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries was noted during the meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Vahe Ghazaryan. The issues of introducing digital traffic regulation and control systems were discussed in the context of promising areas of cooperation. Sides expressed mutual interest in exchanging experience in the field of law enforcement and crime control.

Following the meetings, readiness to further develop constructive mutually beneficial cooperation was confirmed.
