Inclusive clubs have been opened in Almaty on basis of Alatau Theater

The Alatau Theater of Traditional Art in Almaty has 10 inclusive clubs where people with disabilities can study theatrical art, El.kz reports citing Almaty akimat.

The program includes classes in singing, dancing, singing, clowning and dactylology.

The training takes place 3 times a week for 2 hours under the guidance of professional artists and representatives of the blind and hard of hearing community.

The best students get the opportunity to become part of the theater troupe and perform on its stage. The project is supported by the city akimat, thanks to which the theater held 130 events, including international festivals, competitions and concerts.

Artists with special needs who studied at the Alatau Theater have already achieved recognition at the international level and have become laureates of prestigious competitions in Italy, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Malaysia.
