Hungarian national election office interested in strengthening relations with Kazakhstan

Ambassador-designate of Kazakhstan to Hungary Abzal Saparbekuly met with Attila Nagy, President of the National Election Board of Hungary, El.kz cites MFA.

At the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat provided an overview of the political reforms and democratic processes that have taken place in the country in recent years. In particular, he presented detailed information about the innovative changes that have been made to the country’s electoral system.

Additionally, he provided a comprehensive overview of the upcoming October 6 nationwide referendum, its historical significance within the context of the country’s political and public life.

“The upcoming referendum will be a vivid example of nationwide dialog and public political-civil activism in state issues based on the concept of ‘Hearing State’ of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev,” noted the Ambassador.

The Hungarian side appreciated the level of mutual cooperation between the electoral organizations of the two countries in further strengthening Kazakhstan’s relations based on the strategic partnership with Hungary and wished their Kazakh colleagues success in the upcoming referendum.
