In Astana, the creation of the "Kazakh Historical Society" was announced. The initiative group included well-known journalists and scientists, El.kz reports.
The purpose of this public association is to unite the efforts of scientists, local historians, writers, journalists, bloggers and all caring Kazakhstanis to study, cover and popularize national history.
“Today we all see what interest there is in society in the History of Kazakhstan, and this is wonderful! We want to know and understand our history in order to move forward into the future, fully aware of how many centuries of our history, how many achievements, how many leaders are behind us! Thank you to all the organizers and like-minded people!” - said Armanzhan Baytasov.
