The Head of State received Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov, El.kz reports via Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the socio-economic development of the Akmola region and positive results in a number of sectors of the region's economy.
Investments in fixed assets amounted to 530 billion tenge, including private investments - 435 billion tenge. 154 projects have been implemented, 1.5 thousand jobs have been created.
According to Marat Akhmetzhanov, measures are being taken on an ongoing basis to support farmers and increase the share of processed products. Since the beginning of the year, the production of products such as vegetable oil, processed meat, milk, butter, cheese and cottage cheese has increased.
Particular attention was paid to the course of the heating season. As the akim reported, the work of all utilities is under control, a phased modernization of facilities in Kokshetau and Stepnogorsk has been carried out.
In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that a draft Master Plan for the development of the city of Kokshetau is aimed at solving environmental and infrastructure issues.
The President was also presented with a draft of a new Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Agglomeration, aimed at improving the lives of the population and reducing commuting.
In conclusion, the President gave a number of instructions on further development of the region, implementation of projects for deep processing of agricultural products, attraction of investments, as well as ensuring heat supply to the cities of Akmola region.
