Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired the meeting on the measures to digitalize the construction industry and develop the urban planning cadastre, El.kz reports citing primeminister.kz.
During the meeting, Olzhas Bektenov stressed that world experience demonstrates the effectiveness of the use of digital technologies in construction.
According to him, digital solutions can significantly reduce the time for project implementation, reduce costs and minimize corruption risks.
The Prime Minister singled out three-dimensional modeling of objects, the creation of digital urban planning cadastres, the use of electronic platforms for coordinating projects and integration with cartographic systems. All this, as the head of government noted, is already becoming a standard practice in developed countries.
Particular attention was paid to the introduction of digital tools in Kazakhstani practice. Olzhas Bektenov said that thanks to the launch of the State Urban Planning Cadastre, the eQurylys portal and the Bank of Information Models in Kazakhstan, the transition from paper document management to full digital support of processes is being carried out.
To date, over 90% of the engineering infrastructure has been digitized. Automation of public services for the issuance of permits and project approvals has also begun. To increase transparency in the field of housing construction, a unified register of shared construction has been created, available through the eGov portal.
Digitalization of the construction industry will be an important step towards increasing efficiency, transparency and speeding up the implementation of projects in Kazakhstan.
