Development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan discussed at forum

A meeting of the Working Group on the Development of Cooperation between the two republics was held at the Kazakhstan-Bashkortostan International Forum,  El.kz reports with reference to the department.

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapaev and the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.

The main focus of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of the Roadmap for 2023-2024, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in various sectors of the economy.

One of the key issues was cooperation in the field of agriculture. Both sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, including the exchange of experience, technologies and the development of joint projects.

According to Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ilyas Ospanov, Kazakhstan sees significant potential for expanding cooperation in mechanical engineering, chemical and mining industries

The Vice Minister noted that to date, the parties have made significant progress in many areas of cooperation, and the successful implementation of the Roadmap requires concerted actions of all stakeholders.

Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, also spoke about the joint implementation of the roadmap. He also expressed confidence that the best practices that exist in Kazakhstan will make it possible to achieve greater results even more dynamically.

The speaker paid special attention to the issues of digitalization and exchange of experience in this segment, including the creation of a platform for more successful and comfortable work of the business of Bashkortostan.

Within the framework of the meeting, the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism were also discussed. Representatives of both sides stressed the importance of developing this direction and creating joint projects that will increase the tourist flow and strengthen cultural exchange between the republics.
