The Days of Culture were organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 7 to 10, 2024 in the city of Ashgabat, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Residents and guests of Ashgabat will be able to get acquainted with Kazakh cinema, musical art and folk traditions of Kazakhstan.
"The opening of the Days of Kazakh Cinema will begin with introduction of the historical film “Uly Dala Tany” (Dawn of the Great Steppe) historical drama directed by Akan Satayev," the ministry said.
On this day, a gala concert of masters of art of Kazakhstan will be held as part of the closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event will be attended by People's Artist of Kazakhstan Ramazan Stamgaziev, Alisher Karimov, laureate of the State Youth Award "Daryn" Rasul Zharmagambetov, Abylai Tlepbergen, Tanat Sadenov and others, the report says.
The opening ceremony of the monument to the great poet Abai Kunanbayev will be held on October 10 in the Lachin Park in Ashgabat.
