Conference on interethnic relations held in Astana

A nationwide scientific and practical conference on the topic: "Unity and harmony are the main values of Fair Kazakhstan" was held in Astana, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the department.

The event has been organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research

The deputy chairman of the APK Marat Azilkhanov, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice Minister of Culture and Information Ayzada Kurmanova , chairman of the committee for the development of interethnic relations Galym Shoikin , representatives of central government agencies and foreign experts attended the conference.

Speaking at the event, Ayzada Kurmanova stressed the importance of strengthening interethnic harmony and unity of the nation in the context of building a Just Kazakhstan.

She pointed out to the key priorities outlined in the recent Address of the President of Kazakhstan.

The main topics of the conference included issues of inter-ethnic relations and ensuring national unity.

Particular attention was paid to the introduction of innovative approaches and digital solutions for effective interaction between the state and civil society. Methods of monitoring and forecasting ethno-demographic changes, their impact on state policy and prospects for further development of the interethnic sphere were also discussed.
