The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has developed the Concept for the Development of Ecological Culture "Taza Kazakhstan" for 2024-2029, El.kz reports with reference to the CCS.
"The main principles of the Concept include the responsibility of citizens, the availability of environmental information and the interests of future generations", Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Zhomart Aliyev said.
According to him, the development of environmental culture in Kazakhstan will be implemented in sush main areas as the environmental thinking and behavior, environmental education, environmental education and information coverage.
As Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Zhomart Aliyev noted, in accordance with the Concept for the Development of Ecological Culture "Taza Kazakhstan", in the period 2025-2027, waste sorting and recycling projects will be implemented, which will reduce the volume of burial and increase the share of recycling.
"A video monitoring system will be used up to the identification of the faces of violators and the application of further administrative measures. At the same time, in order to reduce environmental offenses by citizens and enterprises, the number of cameras for recording will be increased," the speaker said.
In addition, it is planned to expand the network of automated air monitoring posts, which will enable the population to quickly receive information about the state of the air through online access.
