Kazakh Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev met with the General Director of the Austrian company Lasselsberger Group Josef Lasselsberger,El.kz reports.
The parties discussed the project for the construction of a plant for the production of ceramic tiles, building mixtures and adhesives in Astana.
The launch of the new enterprise, which will create over 120 jobs, will allow Kazakhstan to significantly reduce dependence on imports and provide the domestic market with high-quality building materials.
Minister Nagaspayev expressed interest in supporting high-tech industries and noted the readiness of the state to create favorable conditions for the implementation of such investment projects.
In turn, the Lasselsberger Group confirmed its intention to continue working on the project and expand its investments in Kazakhstan.
The parties agreed to continue working out the terms of cooperation and further development of joint initiatives.
