The ORTAU Center for Creative Technologies has been launched in Karaganda. This is the 14th creative hub in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information, 75 creators have already been registered in the center, a plan of work and events has been approved.
In total, 2161 creative industries are registered in the Karaganda region. In the top common activities: IT technologies, production of metal and stone products, architecture, cinema and TV production, ethno-fashion.
Vice Minister of Culture and Information Evgeniy Kochetov took part in the opening of the new space. He also held a meeting with local representatives of creative industries.
The dialogue focused on the topical issues of the sphere, in particular the provision of exhibition venues, commercialization and export of creative goods and services.
