Bulgarian business is interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan

As part of the implementation of economic diplomacy tasks to promote Kazakhstan's exports and attract foreign investment, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Viktor Temirbayev met with Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov, El.kz cites MFA.v

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat noted that Bulgaria is an important trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan in South-Eastern Europe. According to him, there is a significant potential for increasing bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the fields of economy, agriculture, IT technologies, tourism and, especially, transport and logistics within the framework of promoting the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route or the Middle Corridor.

At the same time, Temirbayev presented the economic and investment opportunities of Kazakhstan, as well as measures provided by the state to ensure a favorable business climate for foreign business. He presented more than 130 specific investment projects that are open and ready for joint implementation with foreign partners.

In turn, Simeonov, confirming the interest of Bulgarian business in cooperation with Kazakhstan, assured that the presented investment projects will be distributed among Bulgarian companies operating in the field of agriculture, tourism, mining, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, construction, IT-technologies, education, etc.

Moreover, as a practical measure for establishing business ties and potential access to specific agreements on the B2B format, the parties agreed to organize a presentation on the investment opportunities of Kazakhstan for Bulgarian business on the site of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to maintain working contacts within the framework of joint efforts to promote trade, economic and investment cooperation.
