The delegation of Kazakhstan headed by Deputy Prosecutor General Baijanov U.S. took part in meetings organized by the UN Office within the framework of the UN Convention against Corruption in the capital of Austria, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies from over 150 countries.
Within the framework of the meetings, foreign colleagues were presented with a report on the main provisions of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Return of Illegally Acquired Assets", developed on behalf of the Head of State, as well as on the work of the Commission on Countering the Illegal Concentration of Economic Resources.
During the visit, Kazakh prosecutors held talks with representatives of the European Court of Auditors, law enforcement agencies of Europe, Asia and other jurisdictions. We discussed the possibility of assisting in the accelerated consideration of Kazakhstan's requests and the further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of criminal justice.
