The main topic of the congress was "Modernization of commercial real estate". The participants discussed advanced technological solutions, investments and successful world examples. The congress was also attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhunisbekov, El.kz reports.
The purpose of the event is to create conditions for the effective development of the commercial real estate market, increase its transparency and investment attractiveness. According to the association, there are about 2.5 million square meters of office space and about a million square meters of shopping centers in Astana. However, only a fifth of commercial space is managed by professional specialists, which reduces the attractiveness of the market for investors.
Bakytzhan Zhunisbekov noted that in order to improve the efficiency of construction project management, the Ministry proposes to revise the mechanisms for implementing projects and introduce the concept of "technical customer".
In addition to staffing issues, the panel sessions discussed modern trends in energy saving, functionality and comfort in real estate. Jan Klostermann, founder of CLOU ARHITECTS shared his experience in designing facilities in China.
