Assets returned to Kazakhstan sent to eliminate consequences of floods

The work of the Prosecutor General's Office to return assets acquired illegally to the state continues, El.kz reports.

At the last meeting of the special commission chaired by the Prime Minister, it was decided to return assets worth 24 billion tenge to the state treasury.

The Asset Recovery Committee also replenished the Special State Fund by 2.2 billion tenge.

On the instructions of the President of the country, these funds were used to eliminate the consequences of floods in the country.

In addition, it is expected that future financial revenues will also be used for social projects in the regions affected by natural disasters, which is in line with the objectives of the relevant law.
