Armenia interested in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan in legal sphere

Within the framework of further expansion of Kazakh-Armenian interaction in the legal sphere, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev met with Minister of Justice of Armenia Srbuhi Galyan, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, the Armenian side was familiarized with the large-scale reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan, including within the framework of the rule of law and ensuring human rights. Detailed information was provided on measures taken in Kazakhstan to prevent and suppress crimes against women and children, criminalize domestic violence, and strengthen the institution of the family.

Minister Galyan highly appreciated the achievements of modern Kazakhstan in the context of building a rule of law, expressing interest in establishing closer inter-ministerial cooperation. The experience of Kazakhstan in the field of digitalization of the judicial system, alternative dispute resolution, as well as the return of illegally acquired assets to the state was of particular interest.

Noting the dynamic expansion of Kazakh-Armenian ties, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation within the framework of reforms in the judicial and legal sphere. Following the negotiations, the interlocutors confirmed their readiness for further development and deepening of interaction, including in specific areas of mutual interest.
