Almost 6 bln tenge allocated by Kazakh Government for additional vaccination of children

In Kazakhstan, over 5.8 billion tenge was allocated to vaccinate children against dangerous diseases as part of the national vaccination calendar. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced the allocation of this amount from the state reserves for the purchase of additional vaccines and medicines,El.kz reports with reference to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

These funds are intended for immunization of children under 18 years of age who have not been vaccinated in accordance with the national vaccination calendar. More than 800 thousand unvaccinated children have been identified in the country.

The program includes vaccinations against diseases such as Diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, hep A and B, and Pfeiffer's bacillus.

This amount will be sent to various regions of Kazakhstan for the purchase of 747,720 doses of vaccines and 542,592 syringes. In the East Kazakhstan region, the existing stocks of drugs will be used for additional vaccination.
