Alikhan Smailov arrives in Almaty

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov arrived in Almaty on a working trip to take part in significant events scheduled for February 1-2. Among them are the Digital Almaty 2024: Industry X digital forum and meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, El.kz reports.

The Digital Almaty Forum will provide a unique opportunity for the heads of government of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan to get acquainted with innovative digital projects. Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to participate in the plenary session and the award ceremony for the winners of the prestigious Digital Almaty Awards.

An important part of the program of the trip is participation in the meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, where the heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will discuss key issues of cooperation in the fields of trade, transport, logistics, digitalization and document management.

In addition to participating in the planned events, Alikhan Smailov is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
