700 teachers of Kazakh universities to undergo training in AI and GameDev

The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, the Astana Hub international technology park, and the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan launch a large-scale training program for 700 teachers from 47 universities of the country. These educators will receive intensive training in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and game development, El.kz reports.

Training will be organized in seven Kazakhstani IT schools in Kazakh and Russian languages.

The Artificial Intelligence curriculum includes topics such as Prompt engineering, Data analytics, Data Science, and Computer Vision. The advanced course will cover generative AI, natural language processing, and deep learning. In the direction of Game Development, the basics of game design, computer graphics, modeling, animation and game development will be considered.

Minister of Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev noted that this initiative was proposed in accordance with the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan at the Digital Bridge 2023 International Forum. The program is aimed at modernizing academic disciplines and teaching methods in the country's universities in order to train a new generation of specialists in the field of high technology.
