355 medical facilities planned to be built within framework of national project "Modernization of rural healthcare"

At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the current status of the implementation of the pilot national project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare" was considered. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova reported on the work done, El.kz reports.

To date, the Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Industry and Construction, has fully completed the development and binding of design and estimate documentation with the receipt of the conclusions of the state expertise. Of the 655 primary health care facilities planned for construction, 102 facilities have been completed.

Regional akimats provide co-financing from local budgets for 551 facilities. Construction contracts have been concluded for 441 facilities, 107 facilities are at the stage of competitive procedures.

This year, the construction of 355 facilities will be allocated from the republican budget and the reserve of the Government. For the construction of 194 facilities, together with the Ministry of Finance, it is planned to allocate funds from the Government's reserve by amending the previously adopted resolution.
