The second Central Asian Media Forum, kicks off in Astana, El.kz reports.
The media forum brought together delegates from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as guests from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, China, Qatar, Russia and a number of other countries. This is the largest regional platform for dialogue in the field of media and communications.
Over the course of two days, experts will discuss key issues in the development of modern media:
- digital transformation,
- the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism,
- the growing influence of social networks,
- calls for fake information,
- and ways to expand cooperation in the media space of the region.
The purpose of the forum is to develop joint approaches to the development of the media sphere, exchange experience, and also discuss the adaptation of traditional media to the new realities of the digital era.
The forum also serves as a platform for establishing international contacts and promoting sustainable information interaction in Central Asia.
