The opening of the first plant in Kazakhstan for the production of fiber cement boards took place in Semey, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akim of the Abay region.
"The new plant of Semey Kurylys Materialdary LLP has become an important step in the development of the domestic construction industry, which will provide the country with modern materials," the report says.
The company's equipment meets international quality standards, which guarantees high competitiveness of products both in the domestic and foreign markets.
A feature of the plant is the use of domestic raw materials, which contributes to the development of local industry. More than 100 jobs have been created at the new enterprise.
