"I am glad to welcome you to Kazakhstan, which is the native home of the Turkic peoples!

First of all, I would like to congratulate the distinguished Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and our Turkish brothers on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. The centuries-old history of Anatolia knows many successes and great achievements. Thanks to outstanding personalities, today Turkey has become a strong state that enjoys influence all over the world.

I also congratulate Mr. Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on strengthening their statehood. Your country has regained its territorial integrity and entered a new era of development. This historic step was taken in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the Security Council resolution.

In addition, I express my special gratitude to the current Chairman of the Organization, President of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his great contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Turkic countries.

As you know, a lot of work has already been done at the moment. We have concrete achievements. The Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, established on the initiative of Kazakhstan, has now become a full-fledged international organization. A document entitled "Prospects of the Turkic World – 2040" was approved. Most importantly, we have strengthened the unity of fraternal countries. We have demonstrated to the world our commitment to our shared values.

We fulfill the will of our ancestors and strengthen the cooperation of the Turkic peoples. The goal now is to preserve our unity, based on mutual trust and brotherhood, and to pass it on to the next generations.

The Turkic world interacts with global powers on an equal footing. Other States are now taking into account the key assumptions of our Organization. Therefore, the expansion of cooperation between the Turkic peoples is a common task for all of us”, President said.
